Following a competitive tender process, INK was delighted to have been awarded the Contract to design and build the new Knowledge Exchange Web Portal for the Business Growth Calderdale Project.

The website has been designed around a bespoke content management system allowing the administration teams to quickly manage content and post announcements, although this ultimately will be self-perpetuating.  The solutions provides on-line opportunities for businesses to access expert training and advice as well as connecting with other like-minded companies.

Joining the network is free, and the capture of a user’s or members details provides information for use in future email marketing campaigns.

Upon registering a business profile is created which can be specifically tailored via the private dashboard to ensure that you receive content that you are interested in. Once registration is complete, you can connect with other members, exchange knowledge and ask for advice from either your industry peers or the expert panel of partners. Members are also able to receive notification of free training and development events which will be provided by the project partners.

Social network integration has also been included on the site and future developments will see members being able to integrate social media notifications onto their specific profile pages as well as the introduction of an environmental tool-kit.
